…but I did have a busy week with little to no stitching, ergo very few posts.
This weekend I hope to make up for it. I am attending a retreat as a day stitcher. This is the type of retreat where there are no teaching pieces just stitching time with friends away from home duties.
Read that…a bunch of women who’ve known each other for a LONG time gabbing, eating and stitching. It’s wonderful fun.
Most of my ’stitching sisters’ are there as well as many people I know through Guild and through my years at the shop. I LOVE doing this!
I do have to confess I did more talking than stitching last night, but I did start the Indigo Rose Folding Needlebook and—sorta—mastered the Tailor’s Buttonhole. Today I’ll be working on my poor, ignored WIPS: Mystery X, The Bordeaux Sampler, My Stitching Treasures, whatever comes to mind…so I hope I will have photos/scans to post by tomorrow night.
Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll ’see’ you Sunday evening!
Blessings,
Julie
