No, I haven’t fallen off the planet…

…but I did have a busy week with little to no stitching, ergo very few posts.

This weekend I hope to make up for it. I am attending a retreat as a day stitcher. This is the type of retreat where there are no teaching pieces just stitching time with friends away from home duties. :-) Read that…a bunch of women who’ve known each other for a LONG time gabbing, eating and stitching. It’s wonderful fun.

Most of my ’stitching sisters’ are there as well as many people I know through Guild and through my years at the shop. I LOVE doing this!

I do have to confess I did more talking than stitching last night, but I did start the Indigo Rose Folding Needlebook and—sorta—mastered the Tailor’s Buttonhole. Today I’ll be working on my poor, ignored WIPS: Mystery X, The Bordeaux Sampler, My Stitching Treasures, whatever comes to mind…so I hope I will have photos/scans to post by tomorrow night.

Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll ’see’ you Sunday evening!

Blessings,

Julie
