2) VS Heirloom Nativity without the Hardanger part being done (that will be later, after our class with Julie and much practice time)
3) Chatelaine Mystery X, parts 2 – 7 (one woman who finished the project tracked her time for each part, and I think part 2 alone took her 40 hours! UGH!!…………so, I better get busy!)
Gloria:
1. A. Finish Jeanette Douglas Stitching treasures – I
have all the boxes outlined but need to fill 95 % of
them. Would like to frame if $$ or I can find a
cheap box.
B. Finish baby afghan for Jeramie and Sara (baby due
in August)
2. Stitch Victoria Sampler Heirloom Nativity and
frame.
3. Finish Victoria Sampler Christmas Treasures from
Retreat 2006 – stitch lid and all ornaments. Not
committing to finishing the ornaments.
D’Arcy:
1. Two basic scarves for refining my knit and purl.
One in a basic acrylic yarn; one in a nice boucle that
I have already purchased.
2. Set of four two-color placemats. (from the book we
bought while you were here, J.)
3. I’m deciding between two more ambitious projects: a
scarf that uses a pattern that winds up looking like
cross stitch, or a beautiful shawl. Both use more
expensive yarns than I have been buying. The scarf
uses 2 skeins of a beautiful Uruguayan wool; the shawl
uses 7 skeins (!!) of a different colored merino wool.
